Great recipe! But I tweaked it to fit what was on hand. Beef broth rather than chicken. Similar the other reviewer, all fresh and no frozen veges. I added a half teaspoon of Thai chili paste (cranking up the hot meter). Apple tree juice instead of orange juice. No zest (whatsoever proficient that is?!). And I simply used two chicken breasts. Everyone loved it (4 teens, my husband and me)!

I made this delicious recipe today with a few changes. I did not add a pkg of frozen stir fry vegetables considering I adopt fresh but also information technology would take been too many for the recipe. I as well didn't add the cherry peper flakes. You tin utilise any blazon of rice. I had some jasmine rice on manus so I used that but prefer brown rice. Information technology took a bit more than time to set than xx min. then don't make it if you're in a hurry. I'yard sure this recipe will not disappoint. Savour!!!

Fabricated this recipe for dinner last night. The prep fourth dimension was longer that twenty minutes, simply was well worth it. I had added a few more spices and some red, green and xanthous peppers. The sense of taste was then delicious. Thought i had made enough for left overs; Boy was i wrong. Side by side time i will make enough to ensure that at that place is enough left overs! But a great recipe, and very healthy as well. Volition brand this again real so. My whole family enjoyed information technology

I fabricated this the other nighttime using 2 packages of frozen veggies and no fresh ones because I was curt on time. I likewise served it over chocolate-brown rice. My married man told me about 3 times during the repast that he actually liked information technology. I volition definitely exist making this again.
02/06/2013
This is fabulous! The but modify I had to make was using fresh ginger instead of footing. I call up the amount of orange peel should be to each person's gustation. For me, one/2 tbs. was plenty but others may prefer the amount called for. Very customizable, quick, and easy. A definite re-exercise for me. Thank you! :o)
08/14/2016
Separate the iii steps of veg, sauce and meat and so you go a true stir fry. Add marmalade and cutting back a bit on the spice. Utilise just fresh veggies and it's perfect!
05/06/2014
Brown sugar. That's all this recipe needed. And a adept squirt of sriracha. Fantabulous with those additions.
02/08/2015
Non the glazed type you'd go from ordering takeout but was a yummy 'healthier' version that was still yummy
03/04/2013
I made a few alterations in the cooking method. I sauteed my vegetables separately, then added them to chicken mixture. The family loved information technology!
01/12/2013
Swell recipe! Prep was longer than 20 minutes the first time I tried it though. Don't get in if you are in a hurry!
05/xxx/2014
This was super bland. For all effort, I was disappointed. I followed the recipe as written (although we utilize coconut oil to cook). I used fresh squeezed orange juice and zest simply it really didn't taste orange-y at all. My guy said information technology was "good" and "edible" merely neither of united states thought it was very flavorful. I was really excited most this one and it didn't pan out. At to the lowest degree it was healthy with all that veg.
01/28/2013
I really liked this stir-fry. Can utilize many types of veggies and makes a lot. Great for left overs!
10/24/2015
The recipe is a proficient base to start from, I would add brown saccharide and more spices. The chicken cooked up really well with the orangish mix, and we enjoyed all the veggies!
02/eighteen/2015
I fabricated the orangish craven stir fry. Information technology turned out neat! I didn't take all off the ingredients, so i improvise. Trick... add together oyster sauce, it gives the dish a very nice flavor and tang!!!
xi/29/2015
Awesome recipe! I added a piffling zucchini to it though! When I make this once more I'chiliad going to try with Lo mein noodles instead of rice!
02/05/2016
It was adept, merely definitely missing something. I doubled all of the ingredients for the sauce, and even so found that it wasn't quite enough, but that'south just a personal preference.

Give thanks you lot for submitting this recipe. Made information technology this evening with minor adjustments (considering of what was on hand). It was enjoyed by everyone including those who do not commonly care for Oriental type foods. I recollect that adding a fleck of dark-brown saccharide helped decrease their reticence.
03/01/2014
This recipe was just okay. I would try it again with my own touches. We found information technology to be much too bland. I did use fresh ginger, and all fresh veggies, merely I can't see how that would brand that much of a deviation. Would attempt it once again, simply with some major doctoring to add flavour.
04/29/2013
Fantabulous! I too didn't employ frozen veggies, added carrots, no hot peppers. Took longer than twenty minutes to prep. Added more ginger, orange zest was just right for u.s.! I too added a little more than soy sauce to taste (I had used "less sodium" soy sauce), and my girl added some salt - merely, we all loved it! We had plenty for leftovers!
02/24/2018
Very delicious! I besides used fresh veggies that I had to employ upward. Broccoli, cauliflower, sweet peppers, celery and zucchini? I sautéed yellow onion with the craven for a few minutes before I added the orange mixture. Even my 8 twelvemonth old granddaughter went back for seconds!
01/15/2013
I thought this recipe was neat! I fabricated a few changes. Since information technology chosen for orangish zest, I squeezed fresh orange juice since I had to buy the oranges for the zest anyhow. My husband and two of my kids (both teenagers) thought it was delicious just said that it was a little also orangey. Next time, I will cut down on the zest. I steamed fresh broccoli and and so added information technology to the chicken/sauce mixture and and then served it over rice and some chinese crunchy noodles. I volition definitely make this again.
01/12/2015
Succulent!!
01/31/2013
I followed the recipe (to save time I used a bag of frozen stir fry veggies) and found the orange flavor with a bear on of oestrus was perfect. Will make again for sure!
03/nineteen/2020
This is an easy to brand dish that has a pretty fresh taste. I would like more orange flavor, perhaps using orange juice concentrate instead of orange juice.
07/27/2016
great recipe. i served mines over thai jasmine rice. the but changes i fabricated to this, well added to the recipe from my garden. three leaves of fresh sweet basil chopped fresh lemon thyme to taste (it is a strong flavour so be conscientious) fresh oregano (only a few leaves) i also added some sesame oil and peanut oil this added a few more flavors that i like and didnt overpower the rest of the dish.
03/23/2013
thought this was bland. Information technology needs more kick. If I make this again, I would up the corporeality of pepper.
06/19/2018
This was really delicious and fairly like shooting fish in a barrel. I took the advice of some other reviewers and added some brownish sugar, and it seemed like a great addition! My husband loved it and wanted all the leftovers for work the side by side day. I think next time I'll exercise fresh veggies instead of frozen veggies, just I will definitely make information technology again.
10/25/2017
I added honey to the sauce. Also, next time I will double to sauce. I stir-fried craven and veggies separately, then added sauce terminal. We liked it.
x/02/2018
I used frozen stir fry vegetables and added virtually one/4 cup orange marmelade and added a yellow pepper since I needed to utilize it up. Wow was this fantastic! Without telling me, my family all ate at McDonalds for dinner tonight so I don't have to share this with anyone! Yum!
05/29/2015
This recipe is a lot of things, but information technology is not a stir fry, which past definition is cooking small $.25 of food rapidly in a very hot pan. The chicken is more boiled, than fried, as are the vegetables. Half a loving cup of orange juice is iv tablespoons, which is mixed with iii tablespoons of soy sauce - an almost 50/fifty combination which pretty much kills the orange flavor or sweet. To follow the recipe, total cooking time is between 14 and twenty minutes, certainly non a stir fry. I was left with a lot of liquid, and some overcooked vegetables. I added sliced pieces of the dark-green portion of a leek, a drop of orange extract, some mirin, and a tablespoon of orange/apricot preserves, trying to cover the soy sauce flavor, and a few other things that I don't recall. What I ended up with wasn't bad when rice was mixed in; in fact it tasted better the next day. Only it certainly wasn't the stir fry I was expecting, and only realized it wasn't as I was really preparing information technology per the instructions. Not on my hit parade, just probably partially my error for only looking at the ingredients and not fully reading the grooming instructions more closely.

I used fresh veggies instead of frozen and we like a picayune spicy so i just added a little more cherry pepper bit.
09/09/2013
I tried the recipe simply as is except I used fresh veggies instead of frozen. Way also hot for my family unit !! The one/2 tsp. red pepper flakes was too much of a "kick". I did not like the orangey taste with Stir-fry. The Stirfry sauce had a smooth and perfect consistency. Would non brand this again.
04/29/2014
I made this tonight for dinner and was quite disappointed! Not sure if I went wrong somewhere.. The only changes I made was I didn't use frozen veggies (subbed onions and orange peppers) and didn't have snap peas. My chicken broth was sodium free which may exist why I felt the sauce to be a little bland. Both my boyfriend and I had to add hot sauce every bit it tasted very plainly! I'thousand certain the recipe tastes great if fabricated word for discussion. I may try this again!
ten/05/2016
Not bad recipe to which yous can utilize any assortment of veggies....likewise, I did not employ the frozen veggies, only fresh, and had on hand broccoli, cherry peppers and onion. Used only two chicken breasts and the same liquid measurements as I was but cooking for ii; the extra sauce gives you more to pour over rice.
01/29/2013
I really really really enjoyed this recipe! Although I did accept to brand some adjustments as well based on what I already had on manus. I used 1/two loving cup of fresh squeezed OJ and omitted the orange zest because of previous reviewers who said information technology was a chip also 'orange-y', and it turned out wonderful fifty-fifty without it. Left out the ginger since I didn't have any, and instead of the vegetable oil I only did 1 tbsp of sesame oil and 1 tbsp of olive oil. I used less oil because I had less meat than the recipe chosen for. Likewise used shrimp instead of chicken. It turned out a little tough though, so if you use it I would recommend adding the vegetables starting time then cooking the shrimp last to avert over-cooking it. And for the veggies I did sliced carrots, broccoli, sweet peppers, and regular peas. I besides used about 3/four of the cornstarch mixture to brand the sauce nice and thick so I could add everything over a overnice bed of quinoa.... turned out And then delicious!!
07/17/2019
The juice overpowered the flavor or the sauce . Next time I will endeavor orange pare and instead of dry out pepper flakes, I volition apply chili japones.
04/08/2018
The craven came out very tender. My kids and hubby liked this although one girl idea information technology was a little hot...at that place'southward one in every family! I will make information technology again
05/thirty/2017
I used Peach Jam instead of Orange Marmalade - still delicious
01/02/2014
This was one of my fav dishes! Information technology was easy and very tasty. I used all fresh vegs and freshly squeezed oranges. I did add extra red flakes and the rut with the oj sauce worked bully. I can't wait to make information technology once more.
09/07/2017
Could have used some common salt - simply that is me. I modified it. Cooked the chicken prior to adding the sauce. Next time will steam broccoli prior to adding.
02/26/2013
Actually good, easy to make, solid option for everyone in the family unit.
10/23/2018
I switched out the orange rind for marmalade and added a little more hot pepper flakes than indicated. Was delish.
09/08/2017
Loved this recipe! I added green pepper and doubled all the ingredients for my family unit of 5 so that in that location was some leftovers for the next day. The sugariness orange flavour actually comes through. Served with basmati rice on the side.
